Shelly’s Healing Ginger Elixer
The Ginger Drink can be made with any amount of the following ingredients. Just add more or less of one or another to taste. Also, when my kids are not going to share it with me I use Cayenne Pepper instead of Paprika. It makes it spicy and delicious.
A pot of water
The juice from about 8-10 lemons with no seeds
One of the already squeezed lemon's rinds...just drop 2 halved into the pot after you juice them
An entire large ginger bulb or a bulb and a half... peeled and diced into small pieces
I usually fill a large pot with water and put it on the stove to boil. As it heats up I add the ingredients. Once everything is added let it boil for a few minutes then turn off the heat. After that it is ready when you are!
